Today was the first warm day we've had in a bit, and I celebrated with a cheery yellow skirt ad my favorite jean jacket. After weeks of down and boots, the light layers felt freeing.
Joe Fresh cowl sweater // Calvin Klein jean jacket // F21 mustard skirt // navy Hue sweater tights// Sam Libby camel flats // H&M cross body bag
A few weeks ago I stumbled on the gold mine that is Joe Fresh. A Canadian company trying to test the waters in NYC somehow yielded unbelievable deals-- like this sweater for $9, gym clothing and skirts for $5. Thrift store prices for new items? Score. I'm especially loving this giant cowl neck sweater, which makes me feel as though I'm swaddled in a warm cocoon all day. Yum.

I love your outfit. Especially the yellow skirt! Since I make my clothes mostly myself, I hope you won't be offened if I shamelessly copy your idea and sew a yellow skirt soon.
Best wishes, Ulrike
I absolutely love your whole outfit! I found you from pinterest (I think) and love your whole blog. I wear skirts daily as well.
Ooo! Can't beat those prices. I guess that's what you call a win-win situation!
Copy away! I'm a big fan of my brightly colored skirts, and it i so impressive that you're tackling a DIY.
The colour pops and reflects the spring that is trying to burst forth. I love it!!
