Two months ago I got all dolled up for my great friend Mindy's wedding. And took some (slightly dark) outfit shots. I really loved this outfit, so I hope you'll forgive me the lack of chronological and photographic clarity.

While I generally love the ability to lounge around in comfortable duds, the occasional opportunity to go all out is one I relish. For this look, I let the dress-- a fabulous retro-cut navy number with floral embellishment at the neckline--shine. Just add some blingy peeptoes, a jeweled headband and a deliciously fruity cocktail for a perfect wedding recipe.

Trust me, I understand the whole "life got in the way" thing. I'm also in grad school (please dear G-d, make it be the last semester of coursework!!!), and man it's been HARD in the last month to really get out of this aversion rut I've been in.
But I'm glad you didn't decide to end the blog! I have toyed with doing a fashion blog for years and just can't seem to stick with it. Good for you!
