Yesterday morning was just gross. Icy rain, slush everywhere- the kind of day that makes you want to call in sick but you can't because your coworkers are out. In fact, the only thing that made me feel better about leaving for work was the idea of wearing a comfy hoodie. And so I did.

While I loved the idea of this outfit, the sweatshirt was a bit too bulky to be truly successful. If it was more fitted, I do think this would be a great alternative to a pullover and jean skirt for a casual day at the office. And I'd like to give a shoutout to my new readers-- Hi! Welcome! Thanks for following!
I think I just I used up my exclamation point quota for the week. Let the drudgery commence.

I like the contrast between the brocade skirt and the sweatshirt, but I think I agree with you regarding fit/bulkiness.
I think you can totally pull this off at work! You complimented it with the right stuff to keep it away from looking lazy.
I'm not a hoodie wearer myself, but you totally pulled this off! I like un-hooded pullover sweatshirts for icky winter days, too.

I love this for one of Those Days. You're right about the fit, but if it was tighter you wouldn't get the feel good factor of going to work in a big sloppy hoodie.
Don't we all love hoodies. They're just too comfortable not to wear them. You look adorable!!!
I think the idea of the hoodie is awesome but, you're right a thinner one would probably be better. American Apparel has thin hoodie t-shirts, maybe that would work better. The whole outfit is gorgeous though :)
I'd wear a hoodie to work, but my workplace is pretty casual. That sweatshirt looks great with the skirt.
