Do not adjust your monitors: there are 2 fake Ninas in that picture. Since the museum was open yesterday, my coworkers and I decided to dress up--as eachother! The costumes were subtle enough that we didn't look odd to our visitors, but pretty darn funny if you know us. Somehow, I was the choice du jour as both Miriam and Sarah took a shot at being me for a day. I've never dressed up for Halloween before (being quite Jewish, I save that for Purim) but it was a nice excuse to bring some fun to a Sunday at work.
On Sarah, left: * grey sweaterdress--Target * patterned headscarf--from her Mom * black tights * knee-high black boots-- Merrel * black skinny belt--taken from Macy's dress*
On Miriam, right: * grey sweater--Anthropologie * navy pencil skirt-- Banana Republic * silver glittery tights--Anthropologie * silver flats--Sigerson Morrison * necklace--gift * cherry blossom headscarf--Brooklyn Botanical Gardens *
* black tee--Charlotte Russe * jean skirt--Old Navy * black leggings-- H&M * pewter boots--Uggs* patterned scarf--stolen from Israeli cousin *
I was Sarah for the day. Sarah's style utilizes a lot of basics, and she can often be found in a plain scoopneck black tee (in fact, she is wearing it today.) She loves her jean skirt, which she has told me is both "the summer jeans" and "the winter jeans" and wears simple, but tasteful, silver jewelry. And she recently got engaged to Larry, so I slipped off my wedding band and played engaged for the day.
Basically, I love my coworkers. And now I'm sure you all do too.
What were you for Halloween?
