Can't Believe I Eight the Whole Thing

As a severe acid refluxer (seriously. I haven't had a real cup of coffee since August. Hardcore suffering right here.) I definitely relate to the alka-seltzer theme of today's title. Still haven't weaned myself off chocolate, though. I'm just not certain life would be worth living without it.
* patterned black vintage dress * grey Lux robe sweater * brown Studio Polini boots *
* black tights--Hue * brown belt--H&M * goldish earrings--Chinatown store * fuzzy fuschia beret--H&M *
A bit of a random mix here, but I really loved this in person. The sweater, as I've mentioned, is just so yummy and warm, and I was able to take it on and off during the day as my office switched from inferno to icebox and back again (no, the alliterative value doesn't make the extreme shifts in temperature any more pleasant.) Since I don't wear sleeveless or short sleeves, I especially love this dress, which has adorable puffy shoulders and 3/4 sleeves but is still light and layerable. Thanks, etsy.

How do you cope with weather changes during the day?

My office is the same way. Some areas are crazy warm, and some are very chilly. I like that you added a purple hat to this look.

That dress looks fantastic. I want to see the rest of it! Though the cardigan over it with a belt is cool, too. I always want to layer short sleeved sweaters over things but I never get it right. You make it look easy!

Hee hee, cute title of your post! I also have massive issues with the fluctuating temperatures at work. I now have an 'office sweater' that I keep behind my door at all times. It's actually one of my 30 for 30 piece, since I knew I'd be wearing it alot, ha ha.

I was hoping for "eight days a week".

I like that you are wearing a sweater that allows the sleeves to shine. And, I love that you are using a brown belt to pull it all together.

i feel like i've been missing something in my life without a dress like that.
does that hat help or hurt with the office climate change? are you able to stay constant temperature-wise with it on?

ooo i love this. such a good layered winter look. it's hard to dress for multiple temps during the day. here (in georgia) it's cold in the mornings and at night but pretty nice during the day so anything too heavy is miserable (pregnant, anyway) and anything too light is equally miserable when i leave the house. boo!

Love this entire outfit...it's very chic and yet when you add the hat into the mix it looks boho. Great style.

CUTE CUTE CUTE I love this layered looks, actually I love most of your looks, but I'd be big nerd to post " cute, cute, cute" on everyone of your posts, but I'm thinking it.
