Last Wednesday night was the museum's gala. Though I brought in a number of fancy dresses, as did my coworkers, when it came time to change after the first 7 hours of work all I wanted to do was stay in this supremely comfortable maxi dress. I added some sparkle with earrings and a necklace, slipped on the heels and swapped my hat for a voluminous fall (3/4 wig with some of my hair pulled out at the hairline.) I decided I looked like a sexy vampire... or like I was wearing a nightgown.
* black maxi dress-H&M * silver bow heels--Marc Jacobs * gold necklace-- coworker lent me for the night (thanks, Miri!) * gold chandelier earrings--Express *
More than slightly tired, I snapped a few photos right before changing into pajamas and crashing. The past 2 weeks have been the busiest of my nascent career, and I am so looking forward to relaxing over Sabbath.

You look stunning! Your hair like that and being dressed all in black is very gorgeous on you!
Love that maxi dress!

Nic's right, that's just gorgeous! This style and the one from the last post are very different - 19th century Gothic novel flair and rather springlike with the white dress and the flower headband - but both are simply beautiful.
LBD! long black dress. super versatile. i like how it flares out. it's really hard to find a dress like that esp, in 3/4 or full sleeves! lovely.
What a beautiful outfit, totally glamorous!
