Ah, Sunday. Every time you come around, I wish I didn't have to work and instead could sleep in, picnic and fly kites. The museum world is harsh, man.

Does anyone else use Picasa to store their photos? For some reason, the pictures have been coming out washed out when uploaded to web albums... I even had to use flickr to get the color of the lipstick from yesterday to show clearly. Kind of frustrating since I have my blogging groove down to a science. Anyway, that was a long-winded way of saying the colors you see are slightly desaturated. My Sunday rainbow was way more rockin' than it appears to you now.
The light cardigan is a godsend come spring (aka expect to see it often.) I use it to layer over tanks, which I don't wear alone. The shirt underneath is just what I need for a Sunday at work, where I lead walking tours in the blistering heat: light, airy and sleeved. You'd be amazed at how infrequently those descriptions appear together in one garment.
-for those who asked: the painting in our bedroom is actually a Marimekko wall hanging. We have another in our "foyer" (front part of long living room.) The one in the bedroom is hub's favorite piece in our apartment.
-Tomorrow is my birthday! By tomorrow, I mean in 2 hours from now. Hello, 24.
-Stay tuned for my first-ever giveaway in the next few weeks. I'm really excited to be able to offer something to show my appreciation for you guys!
