Thank you all for the support in response to yesterday's post. This year has been a difficult one, but I hope that 24 brings only good things. When I walked into the office yesterday wearing the outfit above, one of the interns told me I looked "Monaco chic." I corrected her- it was more like Old Navy chic.
The List:
-white breezy button down, Old Navy
-blue polka dotted skirt, T by Tahari
-brown wedge sandals, Old Navy
-blue and tan belt, H&M
-gold cameo, gift from Mom
-parrot fedora, Eugenia Kim for Target
I felt pretty classically summer yesterday, between the light cotton shirt, wedges and fedora. With my huge vintage sunnies I must have looked like something out of the Italian countryside walking down the streets of Manhattan. Or Monaco. Whichever.

Super cute, particularly that belt!
This is really cute - the hat and belt are so cool!
That hat looks great on you! It is not the case for everyone... namely me!
Happy happy belated birthday! I hope you had a wonderful day.
I love this outfit - that hat is adorable on you! Your skirt is so much fun, and I love the striped belt with the polka dots.
You do kind of look like a chic foreigner on holiday - but there's nothing wrong with going to work like that. I love how you worked the different patterns in the same color shades - and that hat is the perfect finishing point.
I bought one of the EK fedoras too, but sadly, the more I try it on (I'm totally not a hat person), the more I think my noggin is too big for it.
You're skirt is SO CUTE!
I love the Eugena Kim hat!
