Home on the Prarie and Giveaway

What to wear when working from home? The comfiest dress imaginable, of course, spruced up with some new headgear.
The list:
-grey maxi dress, H&M
-white A-shirt, Hanes
-black cardigan, H&M
-argyle flats, CL by Chinese Laundry
-flower necklace, vintage and DIY'd
-glass ring, gift from Dad from Venice
This was a momentous outfit. It witnessed my first drive in the rain, which I think is a pretty darn big deal. I spent Wednesday working from home on a new walking tour, which, after numerous revisions, some funky formatting and good old research is just about good to go. Though basic, this dress is a winner in my book for lounge-around type of days.
A few weeks ago, coveryourhair.com agreed to host a giveaway here at alltumbledown. Even better, they sent over a hat for me to review! Coveryourhair is a great website for those who wear headcovers for religious reasons, like me, women suffering hairloss from alopecia or chemo, or just looking for something cute to wear or cover a bad hair day. Their selection is pretty impressive: they sell hair accessories, headbands bandanas, berets, caps, scarves and pashminas.
The dainty beige cap that they sent me is, firstly, adorable. This totally beats a standard baseball cap for cute styling, and the elasticized back makes it a sure fit for any size head-- even my miniature one. The details definitely make this hat special, from the pleating to the little button. The hat is light on the head and made of a light fabric, so I can see this getting some good wear over the summer.

And now you get to win something from Coveryourhair, too!
To enter the giveaway, you must be a follower of my blog.
Simply visit coveryourhair.com, and leave a comment below about what product you would choose from their site. Only one entry per person, and I will choose the winner next Friday, May 21st. The winner will receive a free headband! Make sure you leave an email address or that I have a way of contacting you from your blogger profile so you can claim your prize.

I don't have any cultural factor that requires me to wear a head covering but, I like them :) These feather headbands are fabulous!

I like the feather headband! =D By the way that dress is great, I have 2 maxi black dresses and I love them but I rarely wear them hehe.

Cool they have the crochet doilies that we use at our church, I was wondering where they sold those (I got mine as gifts). Okay I'll stop commenting now =P
Oh by the way, congratulations on driving on the rain! Rain makes me kind of nervous because of the careless drivers. =)

I really want one of the turbans - probably black would be the most versatile in my wardrobe.
