Our first day in Florida was breezy and bright. Here I am on Friday evening, right before Shabbos (thanks to hubs for taking these pics!)
I was wearing:
-tank, Rebecca Beeson
-yellow cardigan, Paper Denim and Cloth
-black pencil skirt, American Apparel
-argyle shoes, Chinese Laundry
-flowered pin, Gap
-Niagra Falls scarf, vintage
We spent the weekend with my grandmother in Deerfield Beach. I am now wishing that I could move to a retirement community, too. Seriously- the weather, even when slightly cooler than usual, is amazing. She hangs out with her friends all day. They even have ice cream socials on Saturday nights. Life there is good.
(this is what happens when you use self-timer on a surface that turns out not to be as flat as you had thought.)
I packed light for the trip, so you'll probably see these pieces recycled over the next few days. I inadvertently matched the nails to the scarf and pin, and was quite happy with the results (though one senior in synagogue did comment on how you don't see a color like that everyday.) Now we're on the second leg of the trip- driving her car back to NY for her return. We've left ourselves a few days to see some historic sites, shop at farmer's markets and maybe even hit up some outlets.

Sounds like a fun trip! I love the yellow and that scarf! I commend you for looking so put together while packing light--I have a really hard time with travel (which is why I don't post OOTDs then). :) Have a good drive back.
I love the head scarf! You totally rocked it.
I hope you have a great time! I love that your headscarf matches your brooch and sweater. This is a great vacation outfit.
e.- I definitely considered not posting, but I decided to challenge myself a bit... you'll see all my repeats in the 3 outfit post, but I was pretty happy with my carry-on wardrobe.
Closet- thanks! I tend to wear them often when it is warm, so you'll see more as summer approaches
JoAnn- Thanks, we did! I just brought random scarves and lucked out with this combo
I love the scarf as a head covering! So jealous that you're in sunny Florida!
