Conductor

Looking like I've been working on the railroad, though I was actually helping with a donor event at the museum. Casual Sunday strikes again.

Today I am wearing:
-white tunic, Urban Outfitters
-tan sweatshirt, H&M
-jean pencil skirt, Zara
-brown tights
-brown boots, Studio Polini
-DIY'd silver necklace
-grey conductor hat, H&M

Ok, I think it is official: I love this sweatshirt. It is probably the least interesting clothing item I love, and yet I reach for it every time I just want to feel cozy. Today I paired it with this light cotton button-down tunic that I generally wear in the summer. I love how the tunic billows out from underneath, creating almost a peplum effect.

I think I'll be in boots for the next little while, but at least these brown riding boots keep the overall aesthetic sleek. They are comfortable and can accommodate an extra pair of warm socks, so they are just perfect right now.

And seen above and below is the DIY'd necklace, made from a lone Roman glass earring. Love how the light plays in the textured glass, and I'm so glad to have found a use for the one earring!

This outfit is adorable. If you hadn't said it was a sweatshirt, I would have guessed it was a crew-neck sweater. I like what you did with it to change it from being too basic, to one in a series of interesting shapes. Also: love your boots. Goodness girl, you really have the BEST boot collection.
