Kandin Camera

Fun day with the hubs! We went to lunch, to the Kandinsky exhibit at the Guggenheim, and hung out for hours. Exactly what one should do on a comp day from work, especially when tickets are free for museum staff members and guests!

I was wearing:
-yellow print tee, Zara
-grey sweater, brand cut out (Fox's)
-black cotton pencil skirt, American Apparel
-black leggings
-pewter Uggs
-DIY'd necklace
-black wool beret, Target

I don't wear printed tees too often, but I do love this one a lot. I wish I could be as sassy as the girl in the picture. To make it less college and more visiting-the-Gug appropriate,  I tucked the shirt into the pencil skirt, which I hiked up a bit for some waist definition. I added the sweater for a light layer, knowing I'd be hot once inside. Uggs were a must for today, which witnessed our second snowfall of the year.

I'll leave you all with two of my favorite paintings from the retrospective. Be sure to check it out before January 13th if you're in NY! Wishing you all a year full of laughter, love and lots of style,
Nina

One can see Nora's influence on Kandinsky!

I like this outfit -- you look chic, plus your shirt kinda matches the Black Lines painting. Sounds like you had a great day! :) - JoAnn, Sidewalk Chalk

wondering what you would have been wearing if we had been able to get into the tim burton exhibit today. . .

I like your printed tee. I like you, don't wear them often, but you paired it up perfectly for the museum!

Wow! This is one of my favorite outfits of yours! Although, man, I wish I could see it with my Born Peri boots. They are nice flat leather boots that have gotten me up the hill in ice, slush, and 2 feet of snow.

Also I LOVE the Kandinskys you posted!
